This week we learned how the Kingdom of Heaven is like a net. Yet on that day, Christ will purge all causes of sin and will reign victorious.

Jesus’s Kingdom parables have been reserved for his saints, obscuring them from the unbelieving world. Do we wonder at the vast glory of the Kingdom? We dive deeper into this mystery with the help of Psalms 78 as we continue this expository journey.

The parables of the mustard seed and leaven clearly show how the Kingdom of God, though it has small beginnings, will eventually rise to cover the entire world, bringing all things under Christ’s rule. A rule that is victorious and peace-bringing, fulfilling all the Messianic promises.
