While the disciples are at sea, a storm breaks out. Jesus our saviour, sees their turmoil from the mountain and resolves to walk through the storm to meet them. Considering Moses’s encounter with God, we see Christ giving a greater revelation of his divinity. Christ doesn’t leave them alone after his display, but bids Peter to come to him, and then rescues him when he fell. Jesus does the same for each of his saints.
