Matthew 4:8-11 – The enemy takes Jesus one final time in the wilderness to tempt Him and in this temptation we see the true aim of the devil.

Matthew 4:5-7 – The second step of the enemy was to instigate in Christ a sense of ungodly pride; to do an act of foolhardy faith and as a result, test God.

Matthew 4:3-4 – The first step of the enemy in any temptation is to question God’s word. We will see how Jesus resisted such temptation unlike Adam&Eve or His people throughout the centuries.

Matthew 4:1-3 – We begin our series on Fighting Temptation by first understanding what it means to pray ‘Lead us not into temptation’.
